How LAeats works
What LAeats is
LAeats is an LA food guide for SoCal eaters from @laeats, which has 102K+ followers on Instagram. It covers restaurants, pop-ups, The Weekly 10, a food map of every place on LAeats and cleaner product picks.
How pop-up dates stay current
Pop-up owners add their own dates, then confirm them in a check-in email every Thursday. The pop-ups page and the Monday email count only confirmed appearances.
How rankings work
Rankings come from The Weekly 10. LAeats picks ten spots every Monday, readers vote by Sunday night, and the top spot becomes the next Monday's Readers' pick. LAeats reviews every place before it is listed, and no one can pay to be listed or to move up.
What cleaner means
For product picks, cleaner is about disclosure. Brands supply their ingredients, certifications and lab reports, and LAeats grades how complete that disclosure is with the Transparency score. It is not an endorsement or a safety rating, and LAeats does not verify brand claims.
